Outdoor Photography – The North Shore is every photographers dream. There is an endless supply of exquisite photography opportunities to keep your shutter busy: Wildlife, waterfalls, BIG ships and amazing sunrises and sunsets over Lake Superior are all an everyday occurrence.
Rock Picking – The shores of Lake Superior is the mecca of rock picking. While in Two Harbors take some time to hunt for that one-of-a-kind Agate or just enjoy freshening up those rock-skipping skills by throwing a few perfect rocks in the lake.
Berry Picking – During mid to late summer blueberries, raspberries and strawberries are exciting to and not to mention delicious to pick while hiking throughout Lake County.
Ice Skating – The Two Harbors Arena has scheduled public ice skating during the winter on both the inside rink and the two lighted outdoor rinks. The city also has two outdoor recreation rinks open for the winter season.
Parks – Two Harbors is fortunate to have many parks inside the city limits and three State Parks within a short drive.
Split Rock Light House – Today, Split Rock Lighthouse Historic Site combines the old and the new. The historic grounds of the light station are restored to their 1920s appearance, and costumed interpreters take you back in time. In the Visitor Center you can use the exhibits and film to learn more about the history of the station.
Lighthouse Point & Harbor Museum – It is located in the only operating light station in Minnesota. Besides the history of the lighthouse you’ll be amazed with the beautiful scenery from this area.

Edna G. – The Edna G. was the last coal-fired, steam-powered tugboat in operation on the Great Lakes.
Lake County Fairgrounds – The Lake County Fairgrounds is a place that comes alive during the summer and fall.
