Trailhead for the North Shore
Our visitors and residents have realized they can use Two Harbors as a trailhead.  All trails start and end in this community.  If you're visiting, living here, or thinking of making this community your home, we have trails of all kinds with very easy access.

Korkki Nordic Trail - Located southwest of Two Harbors.  This ski trail has been described as one of the best in Northeastern Minnesota.  Great conditions and an experience you will never forget.

Sonju Trail - Takes you from the Two Harbors Light House to Burlington Bay.  Walking this beautiful trail puts you right on the shores of Lake Superior.  You will travel through one of the beautiful community parks and then find yourself on the beaches on Burlington Bay for some agate hunting.  Ample parking.

Two Harbors Area Rec. Trail - Can be found on the north side of the community.  You may have to share this adventure with some ruffled grouse, deer, squirrels, and a wide array of birds: a super wildlife experience!  The ski trail is over 10K in length with 3K lighted.  There are no other lighted ski trails within 30 miles.  Ample parking.

Superior Hiking Trail - Is easily accessed from just north of Two Harbors.  This trail is very well constructed with many bridges, lookouts and lots of places to stop, relax, and enjoy your lunch.  The trail goes all the way to the Canadian border.  One of the finest hikes in Minnesota.

Gooseberry State Park & Split Rock Lighthouse State Park - Offers over 36 combines km of great trails and brings you close to nature and Lake Superior.  Ample parking at both parks and just minutes from Two Harbors.

Lake Superior Water Trail - This unique designated water trail is located just off the shores of Two Harbors traveling both east and west.

North Shore Snowmobile Trail - Will provide you with all the miles you'll want to put in a day's time. Its winding well groomed trail takes you through miles of wooded area and many views of Lake Superior.
