Lighthouse
Point & Harbor Museum
Located in the only operating light station in Minnesota,
this museum explores the development of Agate Bay, where
the first shipment of iron ore left the state of Minnesota,
and is also the reason for the development of this light
station. Guided tours take you to the top of the light
tower an into the restored, turn-of-the-century Assistant
Keeper's House. Also located on the grounds is a restored
"pilot house" from a wrecked iron ore boat. Call
218.834.4898 for more information.
