The shores of Lake Superior display many different types
of rocks that collectors are looking for. There are
agates, crystal, cobblestone, and amethyst to name a few
plus driftwood can be found throughout the shorelines.
There are even local shops that specialize in agates.
If berry picking is something you enjoy, the
area has an abundance of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries,
and choke cherries. Getting the secret spots from
the locals could be your biggest challenge.
